Suppressors, compact lights and Field Notes on SureFire's shelf
An upload-free week leaves the SOCOM-4 introduction and XC3 product video drawing most of the channel's daily views.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
The SureFire SOCOM-4 Series: Evolution at the speed of sound.
SureFire's SOCOM-4 introduction is more than ten months old, but it remains the channel's most active upload, narrowly above a compact-light video posted about a month ago. With nothing new published this week, those two product introductions account for more than half its daily viewing.
Both are the manufacturer's own promotional videos. "The SureFire SOCOM-4 Series: Evolution at the speed of sound." presents its suppressor range, while "The All-New SureFire XC3: The Ultimate Weaponlight" focuses on a compact handgun-mounted light. The latter's description emphasizes battery options and the balance between a concentrated beam and surrounding illumination, rather than size alone.
There is a person-led alternative on the catch-up shelf, too: "How to Stay on Target: Recoil Control with Bryan Morgan of Hat Creek Training, Field Notes Ep. 80." Morgan brings competitive-shooting experience to the series, with Hat Creek's Idaho training facility providing the setting described by the channel.
SureFire remains at 100,000 subscribers, unchanged over the week, and daily views are running at less than a third of their usual level. Nearby in subscriber size, Sgt. Sam had a much busier viewing week, while theARMORYchannel drew a smaller weekly audience than SureFire. Here, the continuing interest is concentrated in the older SOCOM-4 introduction and the more recent XC3 presentation.
