The Roadster drew the crowd. Of carwow's six new uploads, "New Tesla Roadster is here, and it's INSANE!" attracted the largest audience, reaching roughly 5.3 million views.
Mat Watson opens with reveal footage of aerial stunts and barrel rolls, then gets into the machinery behind the spectacle: cold-gas thrusters using SpaceX technology and a fan system for generating downforce. Tesla's claimed sub-second acceleration gets scrutiny alongside the butterfly doors, yoke steering wheel and seats integrated into the chassis. Watson also points out differences between the display cars and the stunt versions, a useful complication when production is targeted for 2028 rather than tomorrow.
Viewers are asking what would survive into a road-legal version. Others reach for Toy Story's falling-with-style joke, remember when ordinary supercar acceleration sounded astonishing, or simply want to see a carwow drag race.
There was plenty without thrusters, too. Porsche's Mission S brought physical cabin controls and a conspicuous rear fan, while the Nissan Leaf review checked everyday storage, comfort and electric range. The updated BMW 7 Series is now drawing the most daily views of the channel's uploads, with its reclining rear seats and enormous theater screen supplying a rather different sort of spectacle. A Ferrari-Lamborghini drag race and a Toyota build-quality question completed the posting week.
Subscribers held steady, and daily viewing is currently below carwow's usual pace. Even so, its roughly 23 million weekly views were the largest addition among the nearby motoring channels. Top Gear and Mat Armstrong are both enjoying unusually busy daily viewing; on carwow, the newest momentum belongs to the luxury limo, not the airborne supercar.
