The second day of testimony in the trial of Miguel Salguero-Olivares went up as a live stream, and it quickly became the most watched of the channel's newest uploads. He is charged with first-degree murder, rape, sexual offense and burglary in the 2012 death of Faith Hedgepeth, a 19-year-old student at UNC-Chapel Hill who was found beaten in her off-campus apartment. He has pleaded not guilty. Investigators connected him to the case through DNA after a nine-year investigation, and he was arrested in 2021.
