Buddy Exclusive Clip - One Small Step (2026)

Fandango (Stream) has posted a forest encounter where the small talk is friendly and the visitor is carrying an axe. Its clip from Buddy reached nearly 90,000 views in 13 hours, an unusually fast start for one of the channel's short uploads.

In "Buddy Exclusive Clip - One Small Step (2026)", a bandaged red unicorn stops beside a talking flower wearing glasses. He compliments its eyewear: "Such nice glasses. They go with your petals." Then come the questions about children passing through, where they were going and whether they mentioned him.

The artificial forest and cheerful singing belong to the world of children's television. The axe does not. Buddy's premise turns a beloved unicorn-costumed TV host into a dark, violent presence, with Keegan-Michael Key, Cristin Milioti and Delaney Quinn among the cast.

Director Chris 'Casper' Kelly has explored that collision of familiar television and horror before: he created Adult Swim's Too Many Cooks, which twists a sitcom-style opening into something increasingly sinister.

Here, the flower's fate is what keeps coming up in the comments. Viewers discuss their expectation that the encounter would turn violent, ask why Buddy lets the flower go and note the unusual sight of a villain leaving an informative witness unharmed. Others want the soundtrack. After his interrogation, Buddy simply thanks the flower and resumes his song on the path toward a glowing structure.
