Between rounds, Paramount's Street Fighter week makes room for bloopers

Fifteen uploads mix premiere portraits, Chun-Li extras and a Johnny Depp Scrooge featurette.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Paramount Pictures followed Street Fighter's cast portraits with a less composed companion: "Bloopers Between Rounds of Street Fighter (2026 Movie)." The outtakes have become the channel's fastest-moving upload right now, while the red-carpet cast reveal remains its most-watched release of the week, approaching half a million views.

Together, they give the film's release week two different introductions. In the cast reveal, a phone showing each game character lowers to reveal the performer at the premiere. Ken supplies a wink, Chun-Li flashes peace signs, and Vega's masked performer arrives wearing a cowboy hat. Viewers are discussing the casting, comparing this adaptation with the 1994 film and joking that Ryu would rather be training than posing.

The film itself, directed by Kitao Sakurai, sets Andrew Koji's Ryu and Noah Centineo's Ken in 1993, with Callina Liang's Chun-Li recruiting them for the World Warrior Tournament. Chun-Li also gets several separate uploads, including a Fortnite skin video and "Chun-Li Wins Chun-Li #streetfightermovie #movie #gashapon."

Away from the arcade, "Ebenezer | Johnny Depp is Ebenezer Featurette (2026 Movie) - Johnny Depp, Ian McKellen, Rupert Grint" turns to Depp's portrayal of Scrooge in Ti West's film.

Paramount added nearly 16 million views across the week, a larger gain than most of its nearby studio peers, though DC had a bigger week. Subscribers held steady, and Paramount's daily viewing is below its usual level. Within that broader slowdown, the Street Fighter bloopers, cast portraits and Fortnite upload supply its strongest current momentum.

  • Ryu doesn’t have time for photos. Bro is busy training.

  • Worth remembering the 1994 film turned Ryu and Ken into small-time con men orbiting Van Damme's Guile. Having Andrew Koji and Noah Centineo play them as actual fighters, with Cody Rhodes taking over Guile, already feels a lot closer to the games.
