Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

"I Wouldn't Give You A Gun!" | Tremors (1990)

Tremors has a smaller, more specialized shelf than nearby film channels such as LionsgateFilmsUK and Bleecker Street, and its week was correspondingly modest: no new uploads, unchanged subscribers and about 65,000 additional views.

The most active clip is a familiar piece of household defense: "\"I Wouldn't Give You A Gun!\" | Tremors (1990). The Gummers protect their homestead with serious firepower, putting Michael Gross's Burt in the setting that helped establish the franchise's enduring survivalist. Reba McEntire plays his wife, Heather, in the original film. Four years after this clip was posted, it is drawing the strongest daily viewing of the channel's highlighted videos.

Another active selection, "Burt's Death | Tremors: Shrieker Island," reaches the far end of Burt's story, with Gross alongside Jon Heder as Jimmy. Meanwhile, the more recently posted "Swallowed by the Earth | Tremors" returns to the original movie's mounting alarm: dead phone lines, a station wagon pulled underground, and Val and Earl riding out to warn Rhonda.

Daily channel views are currently less than half their usual level. For this upload-free week, the useful catch-up is the contrast between Burt's heavily armed response and the earlier moments when Perfection's residents are only beginning to understand what is beneath them.
