Street Fighter | New Trailer (2026 Movie)

Ryu and Ken aren't arriving as a happy double act. In Street Fighter's setup, the estranged fighters are recruited by Chun-Li for the World Warrior Tournament, only to find a conspiracy that puts them on opposing sides.

That reunion is drawing fresh attention to "Street Fighter | New Trailer (2026 Movie)" on Legendary's official channel. Posted in September, the trailer added about 21,000 views in a day, more than twenty-six times its usual daily gain. The film's theatrical release is just days away, though the surge comes while Legendary's overall daily views are below their usual pace.

Andrew Koji plays Ryu, Noah Centineo is Ken Masters, and Callina Liang takes on Chun-Li. Koji brings a particularly relevant screen credit: he starred as martial artist Ah Sahm in Warrior. Director Kitao Sakurai's film places the tournament in 1993, with old grudges sharing space with the game's Hadoukens and roundhouse kicks.

The comments keep returning to how much of the arcade should survive the trip to the movies. Viewers point to classic costumes and hairstyles, discuss the deliberately exaggerated tone, and single out Chun-Li's appearance. One recalls playing Street Fighter on the Genesis. Legendary has also offered a separate look at Jason Momoa's Blanka facing Koji's Ryu, giving that particular pairing its own showcase.

What viewers say

I like they stuck more with the video game theatrics. Nothings worse than a video game movie trying too hard to be something else
