Behind Universal's horror week, a stunt performer's movie-magic story

Molly Miller's Other Mommy profile accompanies two major trailers among the studio's thirteen new uploads.

Who helps make Universal's screen nightmares happen? Among the week's trailers and movie scenes, stunt performer Molly Miller gets a turn explaining her part in the movie magic. In "My Universal Story: Molly Miller | Other Mommy," Bela's stunt double discusses discovering stunt work in her twenties, her training and the childhood love of movies that preceded it.

It is a smaller-scale companion to a decidedly horror-heavy week. "The Exorcist: Martyrs | Official Trailer" attracted the largest audience among the new uploads, reaching about 5.6 million views. Scarlett Johansson plays detective Julie Miller, pulled back into a supernatural investigation connected to a killer she thought she had put behind her. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Sasha Calle play the priest and rookie detective helping her investigate.

The comments have become a conversation about filmmaking as much as scares. Viewers point to the yellow-tinted, 1990s-thriller look, the city atmosphere and writer-director Mike Flanagan's name. Several bring up The Haunting of Hill House as their point of connection.

"River | Official Trailer" has the strongest daily momentum, although The Exorcist has accumulated more views overall. Jane Levy, Jessica Rothe and Max Mattern play estranged siblings whose river trip becomes a masked-killer ordeal.

Across the channel, daily viewing is more than twice its usual pace, while subscribers are unchanged. OSR Digital and Marvel Entertainment also had substantial viewing weeks in this studio-and-trailer neighborhood. Universal's own catch-up shelf adds familiar escape attempts: Daniel Kaluuya breaking free in Get Out and Elisabeth Moss confronting an unseen attacker in The Invisible Man.
